It’s almost there .. new website ready to launch.

I’ve almost finished moving everything across from the old Weebly-powered site to this new site. I’ve learned a lot about WordPress and how to get site(s) up and running quite quickly. Sites? Well, I’ve also been busy creating my ‘dumping ground’ site ( and another site for preserving 1200+ slide scans from the late 60s/early 70s ( Naturally, they are all running on WordPress and hosted within the same space at SiteGrounds.

The only thing that is left to do is to transfer the old blog posts. That’s proving tiresome as there doesn’t seem to be an easy “bulk import” option. Be it a plugin or a third-party service.

The quickest solution (initially) is for me to save off the old blog posts in Word documents, with the dates intact and then repost them on here – assuming I can tweak the date etc.
