Whether your document contains a single section (as is Word’s default for a new document) or hundreds of them, they can all be examined using the Section Inspector.
Within each section you can: remove the contents of this current section’s headers or footers, remove the formatting of the current section, plus alter whether there is a Odd/Even Header/Footer and Different 1st page, or swap the section’s orientation.
You can alter most of the types of section breaks within your document. You cannot alter Column Breaks as this needs to be done manually within Word to ensure that your content remains as it was.
The Sections in your current document are also included in the Document Inspector‘s output.
